Purified Fats, Quality Oils,
and Fatty Acids
Current research
confirms the value of Omega 6:3 fatty acids to maintain healthy skin and
coat. Research has shown that Omega nutrients can minimize the
risk of heart problems, help fight cancer, enhance brain functioning,
help reduce the effects of arthritis and improve diabetes management.
Canola Oil
This is the oil
of choice of the health food industry. The label on our sealed
drums state "The finest for restaurants, institutions, and baking
industries". It is an excellent Omega 3
source. The
canola plant produces beautiful flowers, which in turn produce pods.
The pods contain tiny seeds that are crushed to produce the oil.
Rapeseed is not a
word that can be used in the place of canola. There are strict
quality standards governing canola, and products which do not meet
government standards cannot be called Canola Oil.
Chicken Fat
A quality source
of Omega 6 fatty acids. Our fat is pure and clear and originates
in USDA plants processing chickens for our dinner table. Fats do
not cause allergies as they lack protein. Your pet can be allergic
to chicken, but will not be allergic to chicken fat.
Fish Oils
Also an
excellent Omega 3 source, it improves both the immune response and
reproductive response. We use a variety of Omega 3 sources,
because each brings its own special nutrient benefits to the formula.
Flaxseed
Another excellent
source of Omega 3. Research shows flaxseed has wide ranging health
effects, involving cardiovascular, endocrine and immune system benefits.
