We recently switched our two female, senior hunting dogs, Merkel and Moo, to your Holistic Duck Formula, and so far, the results are outstanding. Both of these dogs have long histories of urinary tract problems, allergies, and digestive upsets.

Guess what? It was the food. And no matter what brands we tried, vet and friend recommended, the problems always re-appeared, and it was a daily challenge to manage all of these health issues. And as working dogs, many of the prescription diets left these girls with limited energy and endurance, so we assumed that their hunting days were over. So we are back on track, and we are only sorry that we didn't find your Holistic Duck Formula sooner.

And we just added another pup to our family, Lil' Bayou! He's an 8 week old Weimaraner, and we've already started him on your Puppy Formula. Within just one week, he's just blooming into quite a pup. Switching his diet was no problem at all. He didn't experience any digestive upsets in the transition. We'll keep you posted on his performance since he will be a working dog, too, and we plan on experimenting with your Power Formula as his energy needs increase during hunting season and various trials that he will be running in the upcoming years. And we promise to share our great find with all our fellow hunting and trial friends.

Thanks for your help and dedication to your product.

Gratefully,
Judy, Tom, Merkel, Moo and Lil' Bayou Lilli

My family just got our first puppy, an English Mastiff, after our three large breed rescue dogs passed away from old age. Needless to say, we've never had a giant breed. Actually, we've never had a puppy that wasn't a foster, so I was very concerned about how to control our baby's growth while providing her with a high quality diet.

Luckily, I fed our older cats your holistic formula food and was very impressed with their coat improvement. When the time came to find a good kibble for our Nibby, I knew the common suggestion was to feed a large or giant breed adult dog food. I couldn't find any adult formulas that had the correct amount of protein or fat according to the M.C.O.A. guidelines, but I remembered your holistic formulas and your website became the foundation of my feeding program. Today, at 12 weeks, Nibby is gaining the proper amount of weight for her breed, has beautiful conformation, and her coat is gorgeous. I've sent your site to her breeder (who has switched her own dogs to your formulas) and to my mother for her German Shepherd rescue dog who wouldn't eat anything! We feed Nibby a combination of Eagle Pack Giant Puppy Food, Eagle Pack canned foods mixed with water, and Eagle Pack kibble mixed with raw meats and vegetables.

Thank you for a food that I feel confident about and a website that I consult over and over again!

I didn't know who to send this to. I just wanted to let you know that my dogs are doing excellent on your Holistic Select Dry Food. I am attaching photos of one of my dogs so that you can see the before and after effects.

I am a groomer/breeder and I recommend this food to everyone I know. I searched for 6 years for a food that would help my dogs eye staining among other problems. Thank You.

Sincerely,

My cats are living testimonials to the quality of Eagle Pack. They are far healthier in every way to other cats we see. People who visit us comment on their radiant eyes and coats, and beautiful temperaments. They never have any illness and don't seem to be aging at all.

William (of Orange) is a 14-year-old Maine Coon. He weighs about 18 pounds. While he is quite lazy, his eyes are still as bright and alert as a kitten.

George is a platinum solid Tonkinese. Tonks are known for their mink-like coats, but George's coat far surpasses any other tonk's coat that I have ever seen. He is 7 years old and always busy managing me and the other cats.

Luciano, like most white cats with blue eyes, is stone deaf. He is 6 years old. Still very active, he cries to play with his laser pen dot and repeatedly jumps 5 feet up the wall to get it. He plays "tag" with me and tears around the house, jumping on chairs at high velocity and sliding them across the kitchen floor.  He was born to a starving young stray that we rescued off the streets one night. She literally went into labor on my lap as we were driving her home. Still, with your good food she recovered rapidly. Luciano and his twin brother grew up to be enormous!

Thank you for making such high quality products.

Our German Shepherd Mix, Grommit, was 5 years old when one morning he refused to walk. We took him immediately to the vet, who suspected he had somehow hurt his back or was having some other injury-related issue. After initial x-rays on his spine, the Vet noticed something odd about his hips, which were barely visible at the bottom of the x-ray. Another full x-ray of the hips showed he had severe hip dysplasia. Our vet was shocked that he had been walking all these years, saying that normally a dog with his condition would have showed symptoms before he was a year old but certainly have problems walking before he turned 5. The Vet said that if he were even a little overweight he would probably be entirely crippled by now. We were given some doggie pain medicine and told to try Glucosamine Supplements but to expect he will require expensive surgery to reconstruct his hips if he is ever to walk normally.

A friend whose dog did show early signs of a similar condition recommended Eagle Pack. Within a week of changing his food to Eagle Pack, Grommit was running around the yard like a puppy again. It has now been two years and he has not had that surgery and gets around great, chases squirrels and even runs up and down the stairs. We recommend Eagle Pack to everyone we know who has pets. Thanks for helping our little doggie walk again.

I have a Kerry Blue (male) and Jack Russell (female) and for the past 2 years I've been trying to find a dog food that works for them. They were on raw for about 1 1/2 years. Of course they loved it, but my Kerry wouldn't gain weight so I had to supplement it with dry (XX & XX etc.) We also had to try different things because he just wouldn't eat if he didn't like it. One time it went on for 3 days.

Both of the dogs had skin problems. I spent $500 in testing for the Jack Russell only to be told that she had no allergies. I've spent $1000 or more going to different vets and trying holistic methods to help with their skin problems whether it be dry or irritated. They always had bad breath which I was told raw would help with that. We tried different types of food since my Kerry is VERY picky about his food.

Finally I went into our local, friendly Pet People who suggested I try your food, the one with salmon, anchovies, and sardines. They gave me a sample and that test passed since my Kerry like it.  They have now been thru one large bag and I've seen considerable difference in their skin. It's been about 1 month (my daughter's pitbull also likes it he when comes to visit).

I just want to thank you so much for making such a great food that you actually see a difference right away. I'm a believer and have told many of my friends about your food. I wish more breeders and internet searches would recommend your product. It would have saved me thousands of dollars and time and frustration.

Thanks again,

First of all, let me THANK YOU SO MUCH for your food. After trying many other foods and suffering through two severe gastritis episodes, my dog, Mills, has been on your Holistic Select Anchovy Sardine and Salmon Meal dry food. He not only LOVES it and scarfs it down, but he has continued to have solid stool which is a miracle as far as I am concerned.

Thank you for your time,
Jessica C.

My dog, Oberon, is 9 years old and has been on Eagle Pack since she was a puppy. She may be the youngest acting 9 year old dog ever. She is a mixed breed and has not had any health problems at all. I can change her food overnight and she has no problems, she can eat anything, but I love your food and wouldn’t feed her anything else even if you paid me. I want her to live for a very long time she is the love of my life.

I bought the Holistix dog treats (the fish ones) for the first time yesterday and Oberon loves them.

I have a 10 month old chocolate lab, Rolo and 1 1/2 year old domestic medium hair cat, Pooka.

When my lab was around 6 months old, he broke out in a terrible rash. At the time, fleas in our area were quite bad and I was told he had an allergy to flea bites. I treated him for fleas and the rash seemed to subside. Then he broke out in a second rash, worse than the first, that did not respond when I treated him for fleas. He was absolutely miserable, it was awful to see him suffering like that. On a local forum, another dog owner was also having the same problem with his dog and was also told it was fleas. After reading through all the suggested issues on the forum by other owners, I researched food allergies and looking back, started piecing together other symptoms. He was scratching all the time, he had the horrible rash, his skin was very sensitive to touch, he wasn't sleeping, he stopped eating, his coat was rough and he seemed anxious, especially at night.

After many recommendations and reading your website, I decided to switch both pets to Eagle Pack. I decided on both pets simply because if the dog happened to get into the cat food, I did not want him to react to it.

Within days of switching, Rolo's rash subsided and he was eating all his regular meals. Within a week or so, his coat was softer, he was sleeping again, and he was no longer anxious. He's been on the Eagle Pack now for 4 weeks, and I've only just had to buy my second medium sized bag (an incredible value for a dog his size). His skin is still somewhat itchy and dandruffy, but after such mild weather til the middle of January, we've had a very cold, dry past 4 weeks and I believe that it will take a little while longer for that to clear up.

On top of the dog's fabulous progress, my cat is also doing great on her new food. For a cat whose fur made her look part raccoon and really fat, for all it's frizziness, Eagle Pack has given her a sleek, soft coat and she now looks the 8 pounds she actually is!! She has not yet gone completely through the smaller sized bag.

I'm very pleased with both the health related affects Eagle Pack has had on both of my pets and with the value I've gotten for my money.

Thank you Eagle Pack!!!

We have an older Siberian husky that at age 6 began having allergies so bad she had sores all over her face and body. The vet did all types of blood tests to no avail. We tried (XXX) to you name it including (XXX) vegetarian. The Medical vegetarian, a last resort, did seem to keep it in check. At age 8 we purchased an 8 week old Alaskan Malamute. I had studied dog food and spoke with a lot of breeders. They advised me to use Eagle Pack for Large/Giant Puppies. Well our Siberian decided she liked that food and we were worried. Guess what! She no longer has sores anywhere on her body and has been eating the puppy food for 2 years. We have now switched them to the Holistic Select Large & Giant Breed Adult. There has been no problem whatsoever. She is prone to loose bowels also so we watched very carefully; no problem.

As for the Malamute pup he is now 2 years and 2 months old and weighs just about 145 pounds and does not have an inch of fat on him. His coat and joints are just perfect. I want to thank you for a very good kibble and please keep up the good work.

Notice Bella her face has all of its fur and she looks wonderful. She is 11 years old here and Lincoln is almost 2.

I have an 8 month old male boxer who has been initially diagnosed with boxer colitis. I have had blood work completed, a internal exam, stool samples analyzed several times. He has been on (XXX Sensitive Stomach variety, vet switched to ((x) IB vet diet ). His symptoms of bloody, loose, and frequent stools have not improved. The vet put him on prednisone last week which has been very disturbing as the side effects have been very pronounced.

One of the pet suppliers in my area recommends your Anchovy, Sardine & Salmon Formula, I use dry & canned food. I also have a 8 month female that is perfectly healthy but would eat the same food (just to keep it easy!). My questions are: would this formula be a good resolve for colitis and would you suggest supplementing it with your Holistic Solution? I have thoroughly reviewed your web site, which is quite informative. I am weary and so worried about my puppy. Your advice and suggestions are much appreciated.

FOLLOW-UP:
We are so thankful that your holistic pet food is already positively effecting our sweet puppy. He has made a complete transition to the Eagle Pack brand with a marked improvement - absence of blood in the stool and much lessened diarrhea. My distributor was out of the fish based so I had to mix the duck and fish but he assured me it would not cause a set-back. Thanks again for the advice and encouragement. I will start the Holistic Solution tonight.
